Some of you may not know this but my wife and I are involved with the March of Dimes, an organization dedicated to fighting (and determining) the root causes of pre-maturity. This has had a very personal affect on both of our lives as our first daughter was born 11 weeks early (1 lb 10 oz; 735 grams). We’re the Ambassador family for the March of Dimes for Central Massachusetts and have done a lot of fundraising work with them (oh, and March of Dimes is an EMC customer, no less!). PS: my second daughter, Emma, will be born tomorrow (4/3/08) and is currently sitting pretty @ 6lbs or so and only 3 weeks early.
